10th anniversary of Golf Kyburg

The opening of the Golf Kyburg facilities 10 years earlier was celebrated with anniversary tournaments and a gala evening for about 300 guests at the golf club itself.

First time use Kyburg resort

Official opening of the Kyburg resort with the first tendants staying in the 22 rental apartments and making use of the fitness, squash and wellness facilities.

Construction of the Kyburg resort

Construction of the Kyburg resort began – four apartment buildings surrounded by nature. 

February 4, 2008

Leading Golf

Golf Kyburg was accepted into the “Leading Golf Courses of Switzerland” quality association.

August 21/22, 2004

1st Club championships

The 1st club championships were held at Kyburg Golf Club on the weekend of August 21/22, 2004. Andreas Studer and Edith Lienhard won the very first edition.

June 5, 2004

Opening

The Golf Kyburg facilities with the 18-hole championship course were inaugurated with an opening tournament followed by a gala evening. The golden opening ball was delivered by a falcon in front of 350 members and guests.

May 14, 2004

Founding general meeting

Shortly after the first ball was struck on the fairways, the first general meeting was held, proudly attended by 225 members.

May 1, 2004

Start of play

Balls were struck in earnest on the very first fairways and the La Gloria restaurant was opened.

January 31, 2004

Membership of the ASG

Kyburg Golf Club was accepted into the Swiss Golfing Association, ASG.

February 28, 2003

Groundbreaking

This marked the first cut of the spade as work began on the 18-hole championship course at Golf Kyburg.

October 31, 2002

Land acquisition

Daniel Weber purchased the Rossberg farm.

August 20, 2002

Founding

Kyburg Golf Club was founded.

How to find us

Exit highway A1 at Töss and follow the blue signs towards Zurich. After 700 meters take a left and follow the Golf Kyburg signs.
